Gorgeous Malia mug in cream-glazed stoneware, offering an organic shape and imperfect finish adding a layer of character.
Each piece is completely unique, thanks to the use of a reactive glaze. The heat from the kiln spontaneously changes the glaze so you might notice interesting markings or colour changes, all of which bring their own original style. The look is completed with delicate hand-painted lines around the rim.
Created by talented artisans in China, the country has a rich heritage of arts and crafts, but sadly it is now more renowned for mass production, and many of its traditional skills have been forgotten or overlooked. We work together with our suppliers to protect these skills.
