There's no doubt about it, Autumn is well and truly on it's way, after what feels like a bit of a wash-out of a Summer. Still, Autumn colour is certainly something to look forward to. And with each season, comes new interior trends.
Here are our top 3 trends to look out for and inspire your home in the coming season ;
1. Nature Inspired
Whether you accessorise with indoor plant pots and hanging planters with swathes of greenery or go the whole hog and repaint your walls sage green, with botanical prints on the walls with bamboo lighting and fern leaf fabric sofas, the trend towards nature inspired interiors cannot be underestimated. Adopt this lovely calming trend and bring a little of the outside in!
2. Dark Green Decor
The world of interiors has moved away from the deepest darkest blue of the most contemporary kitchens, and towards a deep green. Think ivy, deep pine forests and deeper than darkest tones of this much loved colour. Too dark for walls? Think again! Paint the ceiling too, and create a wonderful downstairs loo or bathroom.
3. Warm Neutrals
If all this talk about colour and dark colour at that, is too much for the most conservative home decorators, then consider a home full of warm neutrals... think natural woods, linens, rattan and man made ceramics. Create a warm glow indoors with a mix of textures and fabrics, combining warm earthy tones of radiant orange, ochre and terracotta. Neutral colours never really go out of style, so you can rest easy knowing that whatever trends hit the interior scene in 2022, neutrals can always play a part.
